Kids Speak Out About Juvenile Arthritis
June 3, 2014
With June being the month of the Canada-wide fundraising Walk to Fight Arthritis, it’s especially fitting that we’re filming a video on Juvenile Arthritis. Aimed at educators and elementary and high school aged students, “Juvenile Arthritis at School” lets kids speak out about what it’s like living with this hidden illness. Helping educators and peers understand the challenges of this painful illness is just one aspect the video. It also will include many strategies and tips to help teachers better understand how to help students with Juvenile Arthritis succeed at school. We’ll be filming throughout June and editing in July and early August. French and English versions of the 10 minute video will be available free to schools and hospitals across Canada in the 2014-2015 school year.
