On The Road Researching Season II!

August 4, 2014

We’re travelling across Canada discovering a new slate of exciting stories!  We had a widely popular debut season for our documentary adventure series “Watchers of the North”. The first six episodes chronicling the lives and adventures of Aboriginal reservists in the North premiered on APTN where viewers can still catch them there regularly. The series will soon be coming to CBC and airing across the US on PBS stations this fall and winter.

Now we’re researching and developing seven all new episodes for season II, tentatively slated to film in spring and summer of 2015.  Stephanie Weimar, our lead researcher and camera operator from season I is speaking with Canadian Ranger patrols across Northern Quebec and Ontario to help map out where and what we’ll be capturing.  From emergency flooding evacuations to exciting search and rescue simulations to Junior Canadian Ranger summer adventures, season II is shaping up to be full of fascinating stories! Stay tuned for more news in 2015 as we get closer to production.
