Follow our filmmaking adventures on our blog
We’ve started the cameras rolling on our latest documentary The Invisible Red Thread, produced in association with OMNI TV. The Invisible Red Thread follows Vivian, a teenage Torontonian, and her parents returning as they return to China for the first time since Vivian was adopted in 1995. Their plan? To discover what Vivian’s life might have been if she hadn’t been adopted from China by meeting other abandoned girls who remained in their homeland. Read the inside story and see exclusive images from the film at the film’s newly launched blog!
Thousands of viewers screen “A Modern Castle : The Rebirth of the Canadian Museum of Nature”

Check out some behind the scenes photos from our final shoot. A Modern Castle: The Rebirth of the Canadian Museum of Nature is being screened daily in English and French at the museum’s new HD theatre.
Heading north to track the Canadian Rangers
Watchers of the North (6 x 30 min.) tells the story of Canada's least known military branch – the men and women who keep watch over the North, Canada's largest expanse of land. The series follows the on duty work and off duty lives of Canadian Rangers, reservists in remote coastal communities. Often the first on site when hunters get lost in extreme conditions or a plane goes down in the wilderness, the Rangers are also passing on vanishing Inuit and First Nation traditions to younger Rangers.
Giant Steps Video Series Make Great Leaps Forward
Picture This is in post-production on a three part video series for Giant Steps, a school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We’re working with award-winning animator Marie-Josée Saint-Pierre to bring to life drawings made by the school’s students. Two of the videos will be aimed at helping parents and educators better understand autism with a third video aimed at managing anxiety for children and young teens with ASD. You can view some photos from the shoot here!
